Three Village Area Gets new Board of Education Election Campaign Website.
The website explains the candidacy and qualifications of one hopeful, prospective board candidate. The central idea of the site is to foster an open discussion with the education community regarding the schools in Three Village Central School District, according to Bob Russotti who is contemplating announcing his candidacy for Three Village Board of Education later this year. "I wanted to get some visibility for my candidacy and I am hoping that people will share their opinions on the discussion board, in a constructive way, for the benefit of the school," he said. In this way anyone who wants to become involved can contribute to the discussion and read the postings.
The site is oriented toward teachers and administrators as well as students and residents, all of whom share a stake in the future of the schools. If it becomes popular, the site may stay up well past this year's election.
